Poppin Productions were commissed to redesign the face of Hidden Tipperary to it’s new brand Tipperary Heartland. Our objective for this client was to create a portfolio that portrayed Thurles and it’s environs in a way that would encourage regional, national and international tourism.
Featuring 12 very different sites our primary challenge was to unite each of them with a common thread. Together we decided to hook into the rich dialogue narrated by the, mainly volunteer, communities that drive each venue. Their stories speak passionately of the wonderful opportunities available in this Irish midlands.
From Farney Castle to Semple Stadium our journey discovered the large variety of things to do in Tipperary. The potential of a trail-like excursion is certainly achievable to visiting tourists, fulfilling an exciting and culturally rewarding experience. It is very clear that a one hour stop off at Holycross Abbey can be only the beginning of a two or three day break away in the Tipperary Heartlands.
Our multimedia website production features each site individually. Each attraction features photograph and video footage that give potential visitors a light taster into what they may experience. The site also features a growing directory of other things to do in the area, places to stay and some of Tipperary’s finest cuisine experiences. This together with the physical brochure will hopefully engage more and more people to visit our Tipperary Heartland.
